I started on the pre-med track late and had a rocky start because I was not prepared to balance such a heavy course load with working 20-30 hours a week, plus my study skills sucked.
Research: No hard science, but several years as a research assistant in clinical psychology and social services
Clinical: Working on this - I just have a few hours of shadowing at this point.
Other ECs: Foster for orphan kittens, SAT tutor, peer health advocate, animal shelter volunteer, camp counselor, studied abroad for 1yr, have my own portrait photography business, many years in theater and marching band
