Brief Profile:
3 research projects, shadowing, summer pre-health programs, health clinic, mentor, artsy stuff, i actually had academic scholarships at one point. i had a year of tragedy that threw me off my junior year(reason for the stats). 4.0 in masters. some of the school selections are definitely a reach but what if?

Summary of Application Experience
AMCAS Submitted: 6/17 AMCAS Verified: 7/8
8/8/08 I tried to get everything in early. I submitted amcas about the 17th of june because I was thinking about retaking the mcat(tried but it didnt feel good=void). I was verified about july 8th. Completed all secondaries by the end of july except for the schools that screen( IU, loyola, vandy, and wake). I added vandy and wake at the end of july so it should take a while for a response. IU is taking extra long. I'm OOS but went to an IS school maybe that does something? My LORs are holding me back from being complete maybe I should have requested them a lot earlier!!! So even though all secondaries are sent in I am still not complete because I dont have all of my letters in. Bummer!! I need as much advantage as I can get and this is clearly digging myself deeper.
8/15/2008 I received secondary applications from loyola and IU this week. I got an update on my Wake Forest status page and it said that my app was under review. After 3 days it now it says your application has been reviewed and you will get an email. From what I hear that is not something that you want. Looks like bad news but im 2 for 3 so far. Not bad compared to what others told me would happen. A good prayer really works huh?
8/31/2008 I am finally complete at one school: Pritzker. My evaluator finally sent my letter last week. Its just taking a while for the schools and AMCAS(for UMICH) to update the receipt of the letters. Waiting game once again. It's my fault I should have asked him 5 months ago and lied and told him that they were all due by the end of June. I bet that way I would have a response to most if not all schools. Good news though,I just received an interview from Indiana. I guess going to school at Wabash in Indiana did do some good finally. Oh yeah my instinct were right about WFU: REJECTION. Add Vanderbilt to that too. I just added that school the last week of July because they screened. Didn't want to spend extra money if I really didn't have to on an automatic secondary. Turns out my money wasnt good enough for them. They wasted no time to inform me that I was not the one.
9/23/08 Went to my IU interview. Amazing facilities, great city, and great staff and faculty. I hope this one is a yes. Got my second interview invite for Loyola this week. 16 day notice is short but who is complaining. By the way my letter from my recommender finally posted for most of my schools at the beginning of September. FINALLY but better late than never right. I'm still appreciative for him. Got rejected from U of Chicago but its for a good reason. No surprise right? Added Emory recently because I have nothing to lose but a HUNDRED dollars for their secondary. Reach but let's see. :)
