AACOMAS GPAs:
3.45 Overall 3.44 Science 3.47 NS
GPA on upward trend. Junior year semesters, 20 credits each, 3.75 and 3.98 respectively.
Stopped counting at around 3000$ in application/mcat fees.
1/10/09: Got fall semester grades, 19 credits (5 bio, 3 math, rest engineering), all As.
Sent transcript out to AMCAS/AACOMAS and to the schools directly which haven't rejected me yet. Sent some letters of interest out too, so hopefully I'll hear something.
Update: 03/04 Not a word from any of the nine pending schools, no rejections, nothing. Can't really expect much at this point. Oh well.
03/13: Friday the 13th. Four rejections in one day. Not a good day for premeds
04/11: Thought I'd finally close this out, what a year of apps, though technically I haven't heard from PCOM or CCOM. Its been long, expensive, tiring, boring, and just plain fucking tedious.
But its over. I've been accepted to med school. I'm infinitely happy that I decided to apply this year instead of waiting another year like I had originally thought. Damn, one year ago I was thinking that I was crazy to even try. Now its a reality.
LECOM here I come!
