JANUARY 2006 - DECEMBER 2007
GPA Repair: Took 12 classes (almost all upper-level science) part-time while working full-time (and volunteering). Got all A's (thank god).
APRIL 2008
4/2008 Met with pre-health committee from my undergrad. Put in requests for recommendations from former supervisors. First draft of personal statement done. Spent two weeks cramming for MCAT.

MAY 2008
5/2008 Recommendations submitted to pre-health advisory committee.
5/20/08 Received MCAT score. Balanced 34R. Whew!
5/23/08 Put in transcript requests. Started AMCAS application.
JUNE 2008
6/3/08 All transcripts in except one. Called that institution and found out that they still hadn't sent out my transcript.
6/4/08 First day you can submit AMCAS

7/3/08 UPENN and Univ of Cincinnati secondaries sent. Received email from advisor suggesting additional recommendation from academic professor. Emailed professor for recommendation.

7/10/08 Received email from Emory stating secondary won't be out until the end of August.

8/11/08 received email from Drexel for secondary.
8/14/08 Advisor at my undergrad states that my committee letter will be sent out to schools today. Drexel secondary submitted. Received email stating that LORs have been posted to Virtual Eval for all schools except NEOUCOM (only paper LORs accepted).
8/15/08 UPENN and Temple applications marked complete.
8/18/08 NEOUCOM, Drexel, U of Chicago, and Georgetown applications marked complete.
8/19/08 Case Western and U of Cincinnati applications marked complete.
8/21/08 U of Toledo application marked complete.
8/27/08 OSU application marked complete. Received snail mail from PCOM-Philly, PCOM-GA confirming receipt of my secondaries.
8/29/08 Yay! First interview invite from Case Western. Interview scheduled for 9/23.

9/4/08 U of Toledo interview scheduled for 10/6, Emory Secondary submitted.

9/9/08 Interview invite from Drexel. Interview scheduled for 10/14. Emory application marked complete.
9/12/08 Interview invite from PCOM. PCOM interview scheduled for 10/13. Rejection from U of Chicago (sigh). Met with assistant dean of OU, and he stated he would send a summary letter to the dean of admissions. Emailed Wright State about the status of my LORs. Got a response that my LORs were received on 8/29.
9/13/08 received snail mail interview invite from OU. received rejection letter from Georgetown (second rejection doesn't feel as bad).
9/16/08 Confirmed 10/3 interview with OU.
9/23/08 First Interview at Case. A great place to interview first. Very low stress. Student host, faculty and student interviewer were all laid-back and really great. I love the culture of cooperation they have and all the students are uber nice and unstressed. Very student centered atmosphere. Love the new curriculum they've designed. An all-around great day.
9/25/08 Sent thank you emails to Case Interviewers, Dean, and Director. Received paper copy of my U of Chicago rejection letter. Got a very nice email reply from my Case student interviewer.
9/29/08 Received very nice email reply from Dean of Admissions at Case.
OCTOBER 2008
10/3/08 OU interview. Great place, great area, great school. Loved it. Students were great, faculty interviewers were extremely nice. Also got interview invite for Wright State. Interview confirmed for 10/8
10/6/08 First acceptance via email!! OUCOM is awesome. Interviewed at Toledo, also a great school.
10/7/08 Withdrew from PCOM-Philly, and PCOM-Atlanta. Decision was made alot easier because of their rather rude admissions office staff.
10/8/08 Interviewed at Wright State. I really like the new building and the faculty and students were really great.
10/14/08 Drexel Interview. It was great to see Philly again.
10/15/08 Post-Interview Hold from Case Western. Sigh.
10/22/08 U of Toledo acceptance (email). OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Withdrew from Temple.
