Volunteered at a pediatric center for over 5 years, a youth mentor for 2 years, shadowed a primary care doctor for 6 months, and was a member of student muslim association. I also was awarded a service award for my volunteering and was a member of the golden key & national society of collegiate scholars as well as a few other academic societies. Graduated with a majors in biology and history. BTW, I am a nontraditional applicant who after graduating from college accepted a job managing a small business.

8-7-2009 after a short stretch of hearing getting good news, today I received my first rejection from DMUCOM

8-19-2009 My advice to any applicant is to keep in touch with the school
8-21-2009 3rd interview invite from WVCOM and 4th interview invite from SIUSOM. Im suddenly thinking about tutition costs.
9-03-09 attended LECOM interview and was impressed by the school & faculty seemed to care about the students education
9-04-09 got a phone care from LMUCOM about a possible interview
9-14-09 got my letter of acceptance from LECOM and so relived to have that. Time to party
9-18-09 attended SIUSOM interview great teaching faculty and facilities. Very impressed
9-20-09 Trying to decide on whether I should attend my interview at A.T. Still COM Mesa. Trying to save money : )
9-21-09 Withdrew from drexel MPH program it was a bit sad but it needed to be done.
9-28-09 I probably going to withdraw from AT STILL (arizona)
10-2-09 Paid the deposit for LECOM, a whopping $1500 guess im gonna have to start working overtime but its worth every penny for a little peace of mind.
10-17-09 received rejection letter from SIU, not surprised just a bit disappointed. A good school but I guess it wasn\'t meant to be. oh well
11-25-09 A couple more rejections they just keep rolling in hahaha.
12-24-09 Received the matriculate packet from LECOM. Now its a matter of filling the papers out
