I completed my primaries through AAMCAS and AACOMAS as soon as they became available. I have already sent transcripts to their services, and have collected all of my letters of recommendation through Interfolio, except one. I will eventually have 6 total from 2 science professors, 1 from pre-med advisor, 2 physicians, and 1 non-science professor.

Of course I'm a little nervous, but I believe that everything happens for a reason. Can't wait to see where I end up!...hoping for VA (in-state). May God bless me throughout this process!

6/26: I received my first secondary from GW.
6/28: Completed and mailed GW's secondary and sent LOR package from Interfolio
6/30: Received secondary from UVA
7/1: Received secondary from Georgetown. VCOM says that they have received my primary and will scan through it..Umm yea I have 2 secondaries to complete tonight before they begin to pile up
7/1 continued: Received secondary from Jefferson. Just finished UVA's. Completed Jefferson's secondary.
7/2: Received invitation to fill out secondary from VCOM. VCU says that they received my primary and will scan through it. GW says that they have received my secondary. I received that last letter of recommendation I was waiting for. Phew! Completed Georgetown's secondary.I wonder how long it will take for AMCAS to receive my letters and send them to institutions? Why did they have to start a new Pilot Letters Program during my application year? Started to work on VCOM's Secondary....4th of july is gonna slow down the mail service...grr
7/3: Jefferson has received everything to make my application complete! UVA sent out an email saying that there was a glitch in their system and to make sure they received my secondary. Hope they did!..and yes, they did receive it.
7/4: Happy 4th of July! Everyone's closed today. I finished VCOM's secondary. Will mail that out tomorrow.
7/7: Yay I received invitation to fill out VCU's secondary today! VCU is my top choice, so million times yay! Wakeforest said that they received my primary and will review it.
7/8: My VCU application is complete!
7/9: Received Morehouse's Secondary.
7/10: Sent in Morehouse's Secondary. Received Wakeforest's secondary. Completed and submitted Wakeforest's secondary...Interfolio is amazing!
7/12: Meharry has received my AMCAS application and will scan through it before sending secondary.
7/16: AMCAS finally received my letters and sent them to their 'pilot program' schools. Georgetown application complete.
7/18: Received Temple's Secondary
7/20: Completed Temple's Secondary....what's going on with the other schools? I do know that Howard doesn't send theirs until August, but where's EVMS (which is 20 minutes from my house! fingers crossed, Drexel, Duke, PCOM, WVSOM?
7/22: Recieved EVMS secondary! Yay! Another top choice.
7/23: I had to do my round of phone calls to check on secondaries that I had completed and not received e-mail notification yet. VCOM's application is now complete.
7/24: Wakeforest application is complete.
7/30: Duke secondary! Yay!
8/4: Received first e-mail from WVSOM today. They only want students who are invited to interview to submit secondary.
8/5: Big news today. Interview invite from WVSOM!
8/6: AMAZING news today. Interview invite from GW!!!
8/14: EVMS Interview Invitation!! Ahh!
8/19: Interview Invitations from VCU and VCOM!!!!! (Giant Smiley Face :D)
8/21: Wakeforest Interview Invitation!!!
8/27: Classes Start. Yay Senior Year..September is gonna be a busy month
9/1: Labor Day. No new news...
9/2: Morehouse interview invitation!!!! I'm looking back on my process and where I am now, and I'm thinking: Wow I can't believe my dreams are becoming a reality. Thank you God!
