Brief Profile:
Biochemistry Major. -My 5/31 MCAT was 8PS 10VR 10BS =28Q; 8/5 was 10PS 8VR 11BS= 29Q; I was so suprised that I got so low in verbal on my 8/5 never gotten that low on any practice test. Hoping that med schools will see the improvement and know that verbal is a crap shoot. If you take the best from each section I got a 31...hope that counts for something -2 years of research, no pubs. -Worked in dermatologist office for 5 years. -Worked in Chemistry stockroom 2 yrs -Ochem TA for a year (07-08); Will be Biochem TA 08-09 year -Volunteered at hospital for 2 years cycling through CCU/ICU/SICU, RAD, ER. -Pres. of Chemistry Societyfor 08-09 academic year, was on chem society eboard 06-07 academic year -Science Scholarship from school -Joined Community Service organization 'Crimson circle' my freshman year; Social Chair for 08-09 academic year. -Represented my school at COOL conference in Chicago in 07 (bunch of nonprofit orgs); Lots of social justice work/ projects

-6/26: Working on app right now, those are schools i'll definitely apply to, maybe add more later; waiting on mcat scores monday -7/20: Transcripts in -8/5: Just took the MCAT again and feeling pretty good about it. Hopefully broke 30 this time. -9/7: submitted app -9/9: Got Secondaries from Boston, GW, Tufts -10/5: Recieved 16 secondaries so far, don't really have the heart to go back and be precise about when I recieved them will do that later; really busy with classes haven't sent that many off only: Tufts, Creighton, St. Louis, NYMC so far last week; complete only at Creighton hopefully trying to get the rest of the secondaries done this week. -11/26: So yeah I updated when I got all my secondaries completed and stuff -11/26: Someone needs to give me an interview before I go crazy!!! I'm really hoping for one from Creighton, Loyola Chicago, Wayne State and St. Louis...obviously i'd die for a california school -12/29: Another one (Keck) bites the dust....it isn't over until its over...
