Summary of Application Experience
Submitted primary application - 6/19/08 Primary application accepted by AMCAS - 7/8/08 Last Letter of Recommendation received by Fresno State - 7/21/08
Currently: I've gotten interviews to Hawaii, USC, and Oregon! Still only have received one UC secondary application (UC Davis)!
Just got my first rejection... UC San Francisco... I knew it was a long shot.
12/24/08 - Unfortunate Christmas Eve present: waitlist from USC. Going to Loma Linda on 1/8/09 and I've heard nothing but good things about the school and the community, so not worried yet!
01/04/09 - Denied a secondary application from UC Irvine via status page. Didn't even have the courtesy to send an e-mail!
01/14/09 - Recieved a pre-secondary rejection from UCLA. I've decided that I have nothing to lose by sending letters of interest to UC Irvine and UCLA to update the schools with my recent academic performance (got another 4.0) and appeal their decision to withhold a secondary application. So, who knows what may come of it?
