    Summary of Application Experience

For me the most important part of the process was knowing which school I wanted to go to before applying. After doing research on both KY in state schools I decided that U of L was the better school for me. I went ahead and applied to both schools, but after being accepted into Louisville, I withdrew my application from UK.

The hardest part about being admitted to medical school was the MCAT. I did not do particularly well on the test but it was just enough to get me in. In my opinion the MCAT is by far the most important part of the application process. If everything else on your application is good but you have a low MCAT score, it is unlikely that you will be admitted.
