6/9/08 - Just received MCAT scores... very disappointed in myself. Scored above 30 every test (4 AAMC) in the last two weeks leading up to the test, with a high score of 35. Anyway, 1st choice school is Jefferson and I would be honored to go there. Hopefully, my MCAT scores won't hurt me too much. Filling out AMCAS and AACOMAS applications. Backup plan is PCOM. Any comments on my chances of getting into Jefferson(1st choice), any school in the philadelphia region(2nd Choice), or any school(3rd Choice) at all will be greatly appreciated.

Also, I definitely want to add more schools but I didn't know which to add.. I'd like to stay near Philadelphia. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks.

6/23/08 - Submitted AMCAS... I keep thinking I submitted late even though I'm pretty sure I haven't. I added a bunch of schools in the area to my list. I took out all the high school activities from my AMCAS before submitting it and only kept the activities listed above. I'm now working on my AACOMAS.

6/29/08 - Finally submitted AACOMAS. Getting LOR's sent into Interfolio and Virtualevals tomorrow. Should be all ready for DO / MD Secondaries soon. Praying that I get an interview. Yup, that's pretty much it.

6/30/08 - Much to my dismay, my school made a mistake and told me that my LORs were ready when they weren't. Well, at least they have all the paperwork and will send them right when they're finished.

7/1/08 - Sending in GW secondary tomorrow even though: Primary app is still not verified and LORs won't be sent in for a while. I guess it's better to send in the app as soon as possible so when everybody else gets their crap together, my file will be complete.

7/3/08 - UMDNJ Secondary received yesterday. No essays, so pretty simple to fill out. Finished it and sent it out today along with the GW Secondary. Now, trying to get LORs in order.

7/10/08 - AMCAS Verified Today... Submitted New York Medical College Secondary, but not Georgetown (due to 1 page essay). Working on Georgetown essay.....................

7/21/08 - Sent out Georgetown.. I hope the long time in between doesn't hurt my chances... Now working on Temple Secondary which I received on 7/18. Hope to be finished it by 7/22.

7/22/08 - Received PSU Secondary. Working on it along with Temple. Also, called my school regarding committee letter. STILL NOT FINISHED! They said 1 - 2 weeks, and I am getting pissed. I keep getting the runaround and even though I went there 3 times personally to bring items they requested, they are requesting that I come back again to bring another item. Hopefully, this delay in my LOR won't hurt my chances at the schools that I've already received secondaries (and submitted). Bah. Back to the secondaries...........

8/5/08 - Submitted Temple and PSU Secondaries. Temple had payment issue, waiting for email response so I can fix the issue. Now deciding if I should send the MD schools a DO LOR. Also, researching which schools allow more than 1 LOR. Keeping tabs above on the list. Right now, working on secondaries for: Albany, Boston, University of Vermont, Toledo COM, and Stony Brook.
