Summary of Application Experience
-I will be taking the MCAT on July 8th!!!!! I have also been doing post-bac work for 2 years with a GPA of 3.7. Just thought I would put this up early. (oh I also will be applying to UCF and FIU)
Practice AAMC test #7 (my first one)- VR-14, PS-5, BS-10; at this point I am half through with review, so I dont know how to feel about this, will see when I take another one!!
practice AAMC test #8 (taken when tired and at night)- VR-11,PS-6, BS-9; no good at all, this one seemed much harder all around byt Verbal was awful I thought, oh well back to studying:)
practice AAMC test #6: VR-11, PS-7, BS-10, so lets see the PS is getting better which is great, but I would like it to go to at least a 9, but for sure over a 8 so we will just have to see, the VR i hope will get up to around 12ish, but I swear this is all luck, and the BS 10 is fine but I wil be hoping for 12 so 2 more practice tests to go this week, the last week!!!!
practice AAMC test #9: oh well didnt have time to do this one, I will do it though before the next MCAT if need be
practice AAMC test #10: VR-7, PS-6, BS-7; I have no clue what to make of this i guess I will just see how the real thing goes and decide to void or not to void
Hopeful score: VR-11-14 (12), PS-7-9(8), BS-9-12(11) so that gives me hopefully upwards of 31 which would be great but really want a 32 or above!!!! but for sure above 30; but now after practice test 10 I will be very happy with anything above a 28 still think I can pull off a 30 though lets hope so!!!!
July 8th MCAT (the real deal): VR:9, PS:6, and BS:8, W:M so total 23M, way below my average but close to that last one....so retake here I come:(
Planning on taking again in Jan...maybe if I have time to study fall semester.
ok so AMCAS just verified and wow that GPA is low, so dont think I have much of a shot at all, oh well, hopefully DO schools will show some love:(
