Summary of Application Experience
July 19th and 8 secondaries submitted. Halfway there. 7/30/07- Just waiting to receive the last of the secondaries 7/31/07- Case Interview 9/14. First Interview! 8/15/07- Pritzker rejection today, not totally unexpected but still stings from my top choice. Consolation prize is an IU interview. 8/24/07- Mount Sinai invite, Huzzah! 8/31/07- Mayo rejection today. It's a shame, I like the snow. 9/4/07- JHU invite today. Words fail me. 10/16/07- Case Western post-interview hold. Disappointing. 11/21/07- Put on alternate list at Hopkins. Also disappointing. 11/23/07- Scratch that. Hopkins rejection by mail, gave me the wrong information by phone. 12/19/07- A little more disappointment with a Sinai waitlist, but... 12/20/07- IU acceptance! A lot of long tortuous waiting pays off just in time for Christmas! Withdrawing from Sinai, Cincy, Rush, GW, Jefferson, and MSU as a result. 1/11/08- Invite from Loyola today! First invite in 4 months makes me happy. 2/11/08- Accepted to Loyola! They called this evening when I was ready to wait for the mail. Awesomeness. Now just waiting on Case. 6/2/08- Decided to defer for various reasons. Made the mistake of telling Case that before waitlist decisions were being made, but oh well. Today got my deferral from Loyola confirmed to I'm all set for the 2013 class. Hooray!
