AACOMAS: cGPA- 3.304. sGPA- 2.43 (It's only two class, which is why it looks so atrocious!)

My background is a little unique in the sense that I was diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome at age 3 and a half; and then was mute for a year and a half. In that time, I was taught to communicate in very basic ASL, which I can still use some of it today. I do not have an active recall of all the signs individually, but I can interpret and respond to communications in the language. I have come a long way from my past shortcomings and a part of why I want to be a physician is to give back to the community that gave me the chance to live a fairly regular life.

This is my second year of research into the history of statistics; I'm taking a 3 credit hour course right now for it. I presented this in a symposium that my university holds last year and I will do the same this year.
I was part of the founding group for the Quiz Bowl team- this will be my third year with them and my second year competing.
Recipient of the Presidential Scholarship for the entirety of my undergraduate studies.
I was on Dean's List for a semester.
Member of the Math club.
