Brief Profile: Hey guys this is Noimus Salam. I want to become a future doctor. Grew up as the kid who hates medicine, who loves computers just like any other minority, growing up in the ghetto of Detroit, MI. Then once I grew older and learned how my older brother died of hydrocephalus and how the doctors couldn\'t insert a shunt to help alleviate the pain, I thought to myself, I wouldn\'t want other people to suffer like my family. Growing up as a minority, you tend to see a lot of your family members in all types of pain, I couldn\'t see myself just watching and doing nothing while my grandparents are having 104.5 degree temperatures. I knew I had to change my lifestyle around. At sophomore year at my high school, I decided to work hard in the science field and one day become a physician.
