    Summary of Application Experience

I thought my process was pretty predictable - rejected from top 2 schools, waitlisted at the next two schools, and accepted to the bottom four schools of the ones that I applied to. I didn't apply to too many schools but I did try very hard on every step of the process from PS to secondaries to interviews. I think secondaries are very important and I personalized them for every school - no cut and paste for me. Also, really do research on each school to figure out their strengths and what they want in an aplicant, tailoring your application to that. Other than that, it wasn't too bad. I received my acceptances by beginning of november and spent the rest of the year travelling. This could be an alternative to taking a year off between medschool and undergrad.
