Clinical/ Medical Volunteering Experience: -I studied abroad in Mali for 4 months and spent 1 month living and working at a village maternity clinic. I observed about 25 births and caught 6 babies! I also participated in pre and post natal consultations and vaccination drives. -Summer physician shadowing at a pediatric/ maternity hospital in Nice, France. -Pediatric ER volunteer during the school year -Community Health Educator (taught reproductive health to middle school students in New Haven public schools)
Research: -Informatics summer research assistant position at the City of Hope, Duarte, CA -Research Assistant for a Neurobiologist in the history of science.

Summary of Application Experience
I graduated from college last May and am currently working full time at a medical education firm. I was on a tour with my singing group all summer so my applications have been slightly later than they could have been (completed secondaries at the beginning of October). I'm really interested in osteopathic medicine and am applying solely to D.O. schools!
