Summary of Application Experience
9/19: As of now I have 5 interviews in hand. I just returned from Erie, PA with an interview at LECOM. The school was great, very professional. They are VERY strict with their security policies, which includes no eating or drinking ANYTHING (yep, even water) ANYWHERE except the cafeteria. The interview was very laid back and more of an open discussion. I was asked typical questions, 'Why DO? Why LECOM? Why medicine?' and I was allowed to speak. Overall it is a great school, and it gives me a basis to compare for my next interviews!
10/9: I have been to all 5 interviews--I have heard back from 4 schools, and I have been accepted to all of them (LECOM-E, DMU, LECOM-B, and KCOM). Out of those I'm having a hard time deciding between DMU and LECOM-B. I LOVE PBL...and think that it has such a high ceiling for how well I can do on the COMLEX. However, DMU has been around for a LONG time...the facilities were second to none and it has a very nice atmosphere at the school....what to do, what to do!
