Brief Profile:
Did some intense research starting late my junior year, but other than that my EC's are typical.
I graduated in June 2007 and have worked full time in a research lab during the application process. This past year has been really helpful to me in that I've gotten a chance to experience and really understand a lot of upper-level biology I missed by studying engineering in undergrad. But the application process is incredibly humbling and stressful, even if you do like your job...

Summary of Application Experience
I should also mention that I didn't have my letters in until late November/early December, which slows everything down pretty badly. I was convinced that I wouldn't get in at all this cycle, but things really turned around and now I actually have a choice!
In retrospect, I would not apply to as many schools as I did (19 primary, 16 secondary). It was just too expensive and difficult to keep track of after a while. Originally I planned to stick with state schools, but with my boyfriend applying to law schools at the same time, decided to increase the options. Oh well...
It is finally over and I'm going to my original number 1 choice! I couldn't be more relieved/excited to be staying in Columbus for another four years.
