Summary of Application Experience
I applied late in both cycles....later for osteopathic schools then for allopathic ones, but not because of a back-up plan. I had no back-up plan to allopathic medicine, and then I learned about osteopathic schools....about six months into this year's application cycle. At least one school, KCUMB, took pity on my prior ignorance, but I do believe things happen for a reason. I love KCUMB's curriculum, their campus, their students, (their stats).....and I couldn't imagine a more appropriate school to fall in my lap so late in the process. So many things that make me know this is where I'm supposed to be.....
