12/18/08 - Accepted at U of MN...yay! That all important first hurdle has been cleared...I'm definitely going to med school next year...yay!
12/12/08 - Interviewed at UCLA...once again, no real medically related questions. It was really relaxed and easy. Everyone seems to really like the school, the program is awesome and the area is great too.
11/7/08 - YAY! Interview invite to UCLA! Very excited to head out to go back to CA for a few days!
10/17/08 - Interviewed at U of MN...was very relaxed and overall I think it went well...so fingers crossed! It'd be nice to have at least one acceptance by Christmas.
10/3/08 - WOOHOO...First interview invite to U of MN...yay for the hometown school!!
9/22/08 - Added Dartmouth and Keck. Couldn't think of any other school I really wanted to go to and I don't agree with adding places where you're going to feel resigned if you have to go there. Hoping for an interview invite this week...trying to be optimistic as it is still early.
9/16/08 - Still no interviews, worried about my coursework which isn't exactly following the traditional pattern but I believe to be sufficient. Hoping that at least a few places will agree.
8/29/08 - Called Harvard to find out I was complete, also talked to Iowa...apparently they won't mark you as complete if you send 5 letters instead of 4.
7/22/08 - AMCAS finally received and entered my LOR's
7/16/08 - Notified by Mayo that they should be reviewing my app in the next 4 weeks for a LOR request...fingers crossed that I get to stay here!
7/14/08 - FINALLY....Verified by AMCAS...let the onslaught of secondary begin (aside from those already sent in of course...)
7/8/08 - Finally got my last LOR, submitted them all to AMCAS.
6/24/08 - Submitted AMCAS, all transcripts are in, waiting on 1 LOR before sending to AMCAS.
5/14/08 - AMCAS 2009 Opens, started filling in my application.
5/1/08 - Asked Professors for LOR.
1/25/08 - Took MCAT.
