Brief Profile:
GPA's posted are undergraduate. My graduate GPA is 3.89 for both BCPM and overall.
I am a reapplicant this year, after first applying for the 2006 entering class. That time I had 1 interview and got waitlisted there. I did a SMP last year, graduating in May 2007 before reapplying. I only took the MCAT once.
I am currently a full time volunteer doing clinical research in vascular surgery. I also volunteer weekly as a medical assistant at a free clinic. In my rare free time I enjoy working on the next rating for my pilots license.
EC's prior to application submission include: 4 years involvement in school philanthropic organization, with 1 year on the executive board for it. 4 years volunteering at Children's Hospital. 1 year as school health aide. 6 months as an ESL tutor at a hispanic community center. 2 years as a facilitator for biology workshops in undergrad. Worked 3 summers as a wrangler at a dude ranch. Member of the student council in my graduate program.
