Direct patient care- more then 5,000 hours of volunteering/work experience as a surgical PCA, hemodialysis technician, and children\'s ED volunteer.
Social services- over 1,000 hours of volunteer work in social services as a mentor to abused/neglected children as well as performing well-child exams for the Golden Gate Community Center Health Fairs. American Red Cross disaster action team and first aid services volunteer.
Adjunct Professor- taught anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, first aid, and physical rehabilitation at the community college level.
Graduate Teaching Associate- helped team teach physiology at the medical school level. Tutored physiology, biochemistry, and pharmacology.
Research coordinator- was responsible an FDA Phase III clinical trial, including patient care, in the field of opthamology.
Independent research- in the fields of psychology, pain management, and cosmetic surgery (published).
Honors program research- completed research project studying pharmacologic treatment modalities for disabled children.
