Summary of Application Experience
7/12/07 - Application verified by AMCAS after over 2 weeks submitted. Awaiting secondaries.
7/16/07 - Got the first secondaries today. Ohio State and MCW. Also got online status accounts at a few other schools.
8/06/07 - Been grinding away at the secondaries. Most are submitted by this point except the ones I received today. However, I have been having issues with contacting my advisor at school to get my LOR from him (3 weeks now since I tried to contact him), so I can't complete at any schools until I hear back from him.
8/24/07 - Finally got all my letters in and should be completing at most schools very soon. Hopefully I'll get some interview invites rolling in soon.
9/04/07 - First interview invite at Georgetown! Hopefully more to come soon.
10/09/07 - Got my first rejection today! It was pre-secondary and because I didn't fall into their catchment area. Not really a surprise. It's been relatively quiet for a while. Nothing has really happened in about a month.
12/07/07 - Got an email today saying I was accepted to SLU! I am so relieved that I don't have to go through this process again and that I don't have to spend the next few months strengthening my application for next year. I can just relax for once! Hopefully good news will keep coming and by the end I'll have choices to make about where I want to go to school.
