Summary of Application Experience
1/17/07 After a good but somewhat dissappointing performance on the MCAT, the true chink in my armor seems to be having applied rather late in the cycle. C'est la vie. Received an invitation to interview today at TOURO-COM, in NYC, so there's that.
4/1/07 Call me a fool, but I withdrew from NYMC pre-interview after much deliberation. The letters at the end of my name mean very little to me in comparison with where I will spend precious years of my life earning them. Anyhow, I was thoroughly impressed with NYCOM's facilities and comforted by an absence of the isolationism that bothered me about SUNY Upstate and Valhalla; truthfully, I was somewhat relieved that Upstate made my decision easy.
4/10/07 Just when you thought it was safe to go housing hunting, lo and behold, an interview invite from Temple University. This will require some meditation.
