2/22/07 Though there is still a month left in this application interview cycle, i have a feeling that i am done. In fact, i had a feeling that i was done since last Thanksgiving which, unfortunately, had proven to be foresightful. I regret that i didn't find love from my top three choices. It is not quite a decision i can make; however, I believe i could have been a little more serious on my secondaries and better prepared for my interviews. A lot the times, my believed certainty of acceptance made me arrogant which only left me with disappointment and regrets. If a lesson can be learned from my application is that i should always prepare for the worst no matter how trivial the task seems because this application process IS a crapshot and by always doing your best you leave with no regret no matter how it ends.
5/15/07 So, it seems fate has spoken once again. I'll be in chitown for another four years. No regrets; only hope! Now, i'm on my two month trip traveling down Southeast Asia... oohhooo!!! sa-yo-na-ra!
