Summary of Application Experience
8/06 - Submitted AACOMAS in early August; began receiving secondaries 8/18. Currently trying to knock 'em off one at a time and hoping to complete them by early September.
9/20/06 - All secondaries complete, except for VCOM ('on hold') and WVSOM, where my status page says 'decision pending.' I'm breathing a huge sigh of relief...now the waiting begins!
9/21/06 - VCOM e-mailed to say I'm off the hold list after they received my grades from this past summer, and they should be reviewing my application soon.
9/26/06 - Returned from a mini-vacation today and found two interview invites in my inbox. WVSOM and Touro-NV. Sweet!
9/27/06 - Got a postcard from Touro-MI saying my application was incomplete, but when I called they said everything was good to go and the interview invitation is in the mail. Life is good.
10/4/06 - AZCOM invite came today. Looks like I'll be taking a grand tour of the lower west during that week in October!
10/28/06 - Got my first acceptance to TUCOM-NV today. Awesome! This is a very nice school with a lot of potential.
11/7/06 - Got Touro-MI acceptance today. Between the two, I'm more drawn to Touro-NV, so will be declining the California acceptance. I can't believe I'm in that position...must be dreamin'.
11/10/06 - AZCOM acceptance!
11/30-12/1/06 - VCOM, WVSOM, and LECOM acceptances.
12/18/06 - UMDNJ acceptance.
12/20/06 - Made the tough decision...I will be attending AZCOM. The school pretty much offers everything I want, plus my fiance will be able to pursue his graduate studies down the road at Arizona State. I will be withdrawing from all the other schools.
