*Rush complete 8/22/2005 ........and they FINALLY reject me via email in March!!!! They promised a hard copy would be arriving soon, what, an email was not enough???? :( Wow! I ACTUALLY got an official rejection letter....I have heard they string people along indefinitely....guess they REALLY disliked my application! ;)
*Loyola complete 9/20/2005.......finally invited for interview on 1/13! 'Alternate list' 1/25! rejected 08/01/06
*UIC complete 09/09/2005........rejected 01/26 without interview. Letter reads....'Admission to the UIC College of Medicine has become more competitve in recent years, particularly due to a continuing increase in the number of outstanding applicants.' I guess this means I am not outstanding!
*NW REJECTED! First one! No big surprise!
*U of C withdrew app 1 day before secondary deadline :P
*RFUMS app complete, not sure, 09/??/2005, interviewed 11/15/2005...called 12/13, and I am now part of the Chicago Medical School Class of 2010!!!!
*USC app complete around August/September I believe, on 01/26 invite to interview 03/15/06 - waitlisted - rejected 08/15/06
*SIU won't send secondary back....don't know why I applied in the first place.
D.O. schools... AACOMAS mailed out my app 12/7, and just as I predicted the osteopathic secondaries have all swarmed my mailbox the week before Christmas! And, after all of that I am not sending any of them back! So, technically I did not really apply to any DO schools....yea, I know, I make no sense outwardly, but it all makes sense to me!!!!
