Summary of Application Experience
Because I was taking the MCAT's in August, I did not have MCAT scores when I made my primary applications. As a result, I had to apply to many schools to cover all my bases depending how I scored. As it turned out, I did fine and quickly withdrew some applications and turned down some interview offers. On the other side of the coin, there were some schools I may have had a shot at that I hadn't applied to. The whole process went smoothly and was actually pretty fun (but too damn expensive). I had a lot of interviews, and a few acceptances to choose from. I lucked out.
