6/7/06 - Done with AMCAS. Just waiting for the final go ahead on my essay from my sister before I click submit. Also, stupid transcripts haven't even reached them yet.
6/12/06 - AMCAS officially submitted. School I took a summer class at sent out my transcript last week so i should be good to go sometime this week.
Whoever told me that I 'better have kick-ass PS' etc, I know you mean well, but dude I already realize I'm at the bottom when it comes to grades and stuff, no need to rub it in bro. I've learned from my mistakes and I'm trying my best to recover and move on. Peace.

6/24/06 - Woot AMCAS was verified earlier this week on 6/21/06. I've started working on my secondaries.. Done with AECOM (mad easy) and Downstate. Jefferson and Upstate both look really easy just waitin for both of them to update their sites! Gonna buy like 20 passport photos today because so many schools seem to wanna see my face. Hope THATS not the reason I get rejected! lol.
6/26/06 - AHHH I ran out of checks! Just ordered them this morning and it will take a few weeks to send =(. I guess I will have to 'borrow' checks from people.
Ok I feel bad. ALL I DO at work is update this, check my e-mail, and read studentdoctor.net. Seriously for like 6 hours a day. Oh well, my boss isn't paying me out of his pocket so whatever buddy! This stuff is more important!!!!
6/27/06 - Woot. So AECOM was sent out yesterday and Downstate was sent out today. I haven't even tried touching the Georgetown essay yet. I'm not too thrilled about the $130 fee and the 1 page single spaced essay... I wish Upstate would update their app., and I wish NYMC, Drexel, and Jefferson made their online ones available already!
6/30/06 - Woot. Tulane sent out today and SLU was sent yesterday. So far i've got AECOM, Downstate, SLU, and Tulane sent out. GWU is paid for and done but I need that stupid confirmation number! E-MAIL US ALREADY PLEASE!
7/3/06 - Happy July. This will be a big month as far as apps go. I have finished writing my stony brook essays.. need to get them read =).
7/5/06 - Fourth was great. Stony Brook officially sent as of 25 minutes ago. Rush sent me their secondary today and it's a paaain. ugh. Hope to get some easier ones this week.
7/7/06 - lol received buff e-mail and sent online secondary like 2 seconds later. sweeeeet. rush is goin' out today too!!!

7/12/06 - this was a pretty good week. thanks for the comments on devouring secondaries, folks! i'm still putting a lot of time and effort to them so don't worry =). the reason they go so fast is because i've already worked on/though about them before they even sent them out. anyway, VCU & Temple done and done this week! Gonna work EXTRA HARD on Mount Sinai since it's such a reach.
JUST HAD my LORs sent in from my premed committee. They already had it ready because they knew I was a 'gunner' lol. Dr. Z says it should be sent by end of this week LATEST. HOLLA AT ME.
7/13/06 - WOW LORs just got sent thru VirtualEvals already.
7/18/06 - Screened into 2/5 pre-secondary screened schools so far. Sent in EVMS today but other than that, this week has been slow so far with secondaries. My app. is officially complete at 5 schools so i'm happy bout that. Let's hope those committees have mercy on me.
7/19/06 - SCREENED INTO WAKE FOREST! (I know pre-secondary screening is not a big deal but given my numbers i'm thrilled about this)
7/21/06 - End of another decent week. Sent in Wake this morning.. So now I have 16 secondaries sent, and I'm complete at 7 schools!!! hope to hear good news from atleast 1 of em =/.
7/23/06 - Sunday. Getting Loyola in the mail soon (arrived at home). So now I'm officially screened into Wake, VCU, EVMS, and Loyola.. and waiting for word for MSU.
7/28/06 - Near the end of July.. and I'm already complete at 13 schools! Only 8 more secondaries to go - Have yet to receive any of them yet though. Man.. GW is already starting to hand out interviews which makes me nervous.
7/31/06 - Woot, last day of July. Please let me hear from ONE school about an interview this week...
8/4/06 - crap. got BU, RFU, and Albany to do this weekend!! I've really started slackin..
8/16/06 - FIRST INTERVIEW FROM NYMCCCCCCC i'm SO PUMPED. I would love to go here.
9/1/06 - happy september? i guess? so i've got NYMC and EVMS interviews which makes me happy. but i've been put on hold at Downstate (one of my tops) and GW (great school). i've also been rejected from BU.. but oh well i didn't really want to go here for med anyway. i'm really hoping for a couple more interviews... might add RWJ/NJMS next week...
9/12/06 - added RWJ last week.. getting nervous once again.. absolutely no contact with schools. plus i called wake and they had no answer for me aka peace out. whatever. i would love love love some SUNY love right now.
9/27/06 - Interviews were awesome. I feel EVMS went better than NYMC but I like both schools a LOT. Sigh. Add 228.70 + 101.57 + 219.00 + 40 for 2 flights + 1 hotel + greyhound so far. Wow this is gonna get bad.
10/5/06 - Happy October! Called EVMS 2 days ago to see if they had my decision but no luck.. ugh! i reeeaallly wanna know already but it seems there's been so many waitlists that maybe i DON'T want to know..

11/2/06 - I just might be falling in love with every school I visit. VCU was amazing. add 90.40+ 193.60 + 26 for travel and living fees.

11/14/06 - I thought November would be the month, but not as of yet. Things are starting to get real depressing as I haven't heard back from anyone yet and have been getting rejected left and right post-secondary from a bunch of schools. Tryin to keep the faith but it sure is hard. I wish Mrs. Cifelli would respond to my desperation e-mail =(.
11/24/06 - Happy day after thanksgiving! Home is great and I love the holidays but this is the first time ever I wish the time would just fly so I can know bout my decisions lol.. I can'tb elieve Drexel sent out another batch of acceptances on Monday.. But after a lot of freakin' out and asking around it seems they haven't reviewed my day's applications yet.. atleast i hope not!

Just tryin to reorganize for the schools I plan on withdrawing from in the near future to give others a chance, even tho I probably didn't have a chance to begin with!
12/10/06 - So it's official, got the letter from NYMC in the mail! For a while I was afraid it was some sorta e-mail glitch. Anywho, just mailed in the 'terms and agreements' form today, and the $100 deposit fee does not need to be mailed until May 15th so I will do that later, depending on how Downstate goes! Life is great right now.. 3.5 years of stress has just suddenly disappeared.
12/14/06 - Called NYMC and they confirmed receipt of my terms & agreement signature page! It's official, I'm goin to med school! VCU should be updating tomorrow also...

02/02/06 - Waitlisted at Downstate. Getting waitlisted is such a shot to the heart. Not good enough to get in, but not bad enough to kick out. Oh well, even closer to NYMC now! I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for Drexel, though.
