    Summary of Application Experience

I was complete in June, secondaries were done by end of august, first acceptance nov 21. I think those things are highly correlated. My GPA and MCAT put me in the middle of the pack competitively but I think the only reason I have an acceptance right now is because I applied early. The other factor I think is a big deal is the LOR's, all the people I had write mine knew me, on a working basis, for at least 6 months. I think that strong letters make a huge difference.

2/16- out of the 4 schools I'm accepted at, I think, I will go to NYMC. I really hope that BU gives me some love, I thought that the program was great, and Boston was a really cool city. I don't know if I am quite competitive with my numbers but I hope I get in. I thought that after I was accepted, all the weight would be gone from my shoulders, but I still feel nervous and anxious about BU and then how to work out the logistics of moving and getting money.

3/29- got accepted to BU today and rejected from U of U today. It was a good day, I'm really excited about BU. I loved the school and the program. Well that just about settles it all for me, I will be heading to BU next fall. I think I will hang on to my NYMC acceptance until I have time to talk to BU and make sure everything is set to go. I would hate to have something happen and be left with no schools to go to.

6/7- Well everything is set into motion. I'll be moving to Boston in august.
