The experience is humbling. I am still reeling from it, but am glad I did it because it was worth the wait. My MCATs are ok and my GPA isn't that great but I've done a lot of volunteer work and have had a lot of internships which gave me some experience. Also, being an English major helped because I wrote a great personal statement. My advice is to work really hard on the statement. Remember, all you need is one acceptance!
