Brief Profile: I have a lot of clinical experience, community service, teaching and mentoring positions in my file. I also have a few leadership positions and international experience as an immigrant and someone who has studied abroad. Hbasically I have everything, including awards and fun activities. The only thing my file is missing is the impressive MCAT score and research experience. I did things I thought would be fun .. not someting that would fit a pre-med blueprint. I didn't tell them what they wanted to hear... I was simply myself.

My advice is to apply relatively early and not wait until the last minute. Apply to at least 10 schools and don't doubt yourself. If this is your calling...it's simply your calling. In terms of the MCAT...STUDY YOUR VERBAL!! In terms of applications...fill out EVERYTHING...and have a second opinion on your essays in terms of editing and clarity.
