My undergrad GPA was low because I did a dual degree in biology and computer science at Carnegie Mellon (one of the top 5 CS schools). However, I did my masters (in computational bio) and got a GPA of 3.74.

I am very happy I got in this year and did not have to re-apply. I think the process is long and drawn out. If you're stats are not that great, there's a lot of waiting and worrying. But if you really want to go to medical school, you'll get in somewhere
