Summary of Application Experience
7/30 - withdrew from Feinberg because I needed to sign a lease in Milwaukee. MCW starts 8/7, so that's all there is to it.
5/12 - I've been calling, e-mailing, and snail-mailing the boys at NU. Let me in! :-D If they want us to indicate interest, I'll do just that.
2/15 - well, it's a waitlist at NU. The LOI will be in the works shortly.
1/27 - *crickets* drove through Chicago a few days ago. Northwestern loomed heavily on my mind. All the other schools have still been silent.
11/21 - apparently Northwestern has been calling around. Very nervous!
11/8 - everyone else has been silent. Still hoping for Northwestern.
10/22 - So I got in at UWisc, so if two schools said yes, then Northwestern definitely needs to say yes!
10/17 - Well, no matter what else happens, I got in! MCW was the one. If I get accepted at Northwestern, I'd love to go there, but I'd definitely be a happy camper at MCW.
10/1 - went to UWisc and Northwestern, MCW is coming up. I withdrew from Duke and Rosalind Franklin - I ran out of patience for essays, and I didn't want to spend the extra money either. UWisc had a very relaxed interview process - so much so, that I'm not sure how much information they learned from us! Northwestern was nothing like the horror stories I had heard, but they did have some tough questions in the panel interview. The panel interview was a pleasant experience, but there were some real 'thinking questions.'
8/25 - yep, still gotta finish Duke and RosF. I just don't have time to write lengthy essays, but I still intend to. Got my UWisc interview invite! My final LOR writer finished the letter on Sunday, so they must've hit the 'send' button for my interview invite as soon as it came in the mail.
8/15 - okay, I'm down to just Duke, Cornell, and Rosalind Franklin, which I plan to do in that order. At least these are all pretty recent - it took me 3 weeks to turn Rush around!
8/10 - well, at least UWisc doesn't need transcripts unless I get an interview - I called to check that. Working on some essays and such - Duke has a LOT of them!
8/5 - why does UWisc need more transcripts? Grrr.
8-3 - I'm envious of the people who complete their secondaries practically immediately. I work a lot and have been having trouble completing everything on time. Not to mention my technical difficulties with a few online secondaries and the fact that some schools are very specific with the letters they want.
7-8 - secondaries are starting to come in.
6-15 - Processed and verified. Made some silly mistakes in the dates of my sophomore courses. D'oh.
