Summary of Application Experience
A torturous, humbling process. The August MCAT coupled with some poor school choices really set me back in the game. My experience shows you how arbitrary this process truly is: my only outright acceptance out of 2 interviews was at a school that had been in my top 5 choices from the beginning. Ironic. Apply EARLY and know your realistic options. And remember, no matter how 'qualified' you personally think you are, you are not entitled to anything in this process. I feel fortunate to be going to ANY med school.
