Summary of Application Experience
Being the procrastinator that I am, I applied rather late this application cycle even though I had already taken the MCAT the previous summer (primary sent Sept. and secondaries Oct. thru Jan.). I wouldn't advise this to anybody if they can help it. Well, we'll see what happens
Can't complain about the number of interview invites I've received, especially since some of them were to my top choices.
3/5-I got an acceptance from Pitt! I'm super excited since I really loved the school when I interviewed. Unless I get accepted to UCLA or UCI, it looks like this is where I'm headed.
4/4-Got my first acceptance to a Cali school! Really happy about this one as well. This makes my decision a lot tougher though. I really really like the program at Pitt but I miss Cali quite a bit, having been away for all these years. UCI is a good school as well. And the location (sunny weather, close to family and friends) and in-state tuition are hard to beat. I also want to end up in Cali for residency, so that's another factor I'm considering. Anyhow, I will be heading to both second look weekends before making a decision.
