Summary of Application Experience
I think getting in all rides on the interview. For me, i just had THAT feeling after all my acceptance interviews b/c i felt a connection w/the school and/or interviewer; the others weren't such a great click and probably showed through on the interview. As for the pre-interview cut, numbers numbers, numbers. it seems as if my numbers weren't good enough for those top tier schools, even with my extracurrics and some pretty good secondary bullshit. SAVE MONEY. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND APPLY TO MAINLY THE REALISTIC ONES WHERE YOU'D BE HAPPY. I applied to way too many schools, spent way too much money. Applying from overseas is possible, although fed-exed secondaries can get pricey, and depending on how many interviews you have, quite expensive if you try to do them from abroad. just come home.
