Summary of Application Experience
1/21/05 Ok, well I didn't get as many invites as I thought I might. Downstate on 1/6/05 - went well, but I'd probably turn it doen for NJMS. The invite from RWJ, where I was waitlisted last year, came today. I'm not sure I'll hear back from any of the others. So 3 interviews this year - same as last year.
post 11/17/04 This is my second year applying. Last year (2004 entrance) I applied with the same everything except a 28 MCAT instead of a 32 - although last year I was in the middle of Georgetown's SMP program so the process was rather more hectic thanit needed to be. In any case, last year I interviewed at NYMC, UMDNJ-RWJ, and UMDNJ-NJMS. Waitlisted and then rejected (in August!) by all of them.
This year (2005 entrance)I interviewed early at NJMS in September 2004 and was at long last accepted in early November. I am still waiting to hear back from the rest of my schools, but I'm pretty relaxed after the acceptance. I expect maybe a handful more interviews once my August MCATs get processed, but if not no big deal.
