Summary of Application Experience
Submitted AMCAS 7/15, verified 7/29 Complete at most schools end of August, early September
Update 5/4: Okay, so I got rejected by a bunch of schools, but also interviewed by a bunch. I'm grateful for getting into a couple US allopathic schools with my undergrad record, but anyone looking at my profile should know that I have quite a few postbacc/graduate A's, and I have much more research and clinical experience than most traditional applicants.
I'm really hoping for some waitlist movement in a couple weeks, will update as they accept/reject.
Update 6/15: I've been lucky enough to see some waitlist movement lately, and have gotten to pick from some really nice schools. The waiting still goes on...
I never got around to withdrawing from a few schools, but they never accepted me off their waitlists anyway, so the end result was the same (rejection!).
PS--this process was extraordinarily expensive, I probably spent over 8 grand on the apps and travel.
