Summary of Application Experience
8/04 On 2ndary #13. Cranking them out nearly one per day. Between working full time and being a dad this ain't easy.
8/24 Almost there (#22). First interview invite from Tulane!
9/15 Turned in last secondary #26. Ouch. (still waiting for HMS).
10/23 Finally done with all secondaries. (Mayo and HMS included). Interviewing a lot more fun and a lot more expensive! Still waiting for an acceptance so I can hopfully start withdrawing apps.
11/3 Finally an acceptance! Tulane is a great school, had an awesome day down there. Grateful to withdraw app. from schools that were lower on my ranked list. VERY tempted to bag the rest of this painful and expensive process.
1/18 Added two A's to my GPA with post-bacc classes. I am basically deciding between Pitt and Tulane now although financial aid will come into play at the other schools. Giving my wife a chance to apply for jobs in all places to see what works best for her. Reluctant to withdraw from all my other schools because I put so much work into their applications. Then again, I am tired of traveling and spending so much damn money. I'll call it by Feb. 15.
1/31 Can't complain. Got into the schools that I really liked and have some great choices. Withdrawing from the schools that are dragging their heels on my app.
