Brief Profile:
LOTS of in depth clinical/hospital experiences and precepting (one summer was spent doing precepting for 60hours/wk without pay), 1yr basic lab research, 1yr epidemilogical research, i think my Letters of rec were really good, i never got to see all of them, but the professors that i eventually chose to send letters from were the ones i trusted and who told me they wrote a fantastic letter.

Summary of Application Experience
Going to Harvard! The ucsf acceptance i got was for the joint MD/MS program, i was waitlisted for the regular ucsf md and withdrew from the waitlist. I ended up not going to alot of interviews because I got worn out and tired. I feel as though my GPA is not as high as i'd like but i'm happy with my MCAT score and i'm a really good interviewee (most interviewers actually told me that) so that helps. The whole process kills you, weakens your immune system, and makes you very tired. I'm not even a stressed out person in general, but even I was going crazy during the peak secondary months. Good luck to all, and I hope we all make it to the other side. all and all i feel very blessed and the only thing i can say now that it's over is that i'm so grateful for my family/friends helping me through it! don't ever listen to people who don't wish you well, only listen to those who do!! :)
