Scheduling interview traveling (plus making up for missed classes) is such a headache.

03/04 -- Columbia waitlist (aka 'list of alternates'), but 'very highly ranked,' which is still nice to hear
03/18 -- Cornell rejection. Oh well.
03/27 -- UPenn waitlist (tier 1)
03/31 -- BU waitlist 'We have clearly seen many more outstanding candidates than we are able to admit. From this group of exceptional people, the Committee on Admissions has selected a small group to comprise a waiting list. This group is not ranked and includes only those applicants for whom we hope places will become available prior to matriculation in the fall.'
