    Summary of Application Experience

****i'm only going to update this for the benefit of applicants, but i won't list any interview dates if i'm lucky to receive them*****i graduated last year in the fall of 2003. i was able to find funding to support a research campaign in africa that i took advantage of for more than a year. a tough year and a half that nonetheless was a life changing experience that made me a better person. it seems like i'm late in the game of applying so i don't know if those schools with rolling admissions might look at me favorably. i guess i've always wanted to go the medicine route someday but didn't realize it until after the fact that maybe this year would be it. so i guess everything right now just seems a little overwhelming. i graduated from an international school in canada and i think i want to stay unless i find that throughout this process i've been swayed otherwise...montreal is just a beautiful and cultured city that i fell in love with these past few years. i just recently got verified through amcas and am waiting for secondaries to finally start to arrive. right now i'm teaching at a local school part time as i'm applying this year with crossed fingers....hopefully things will work out this year. excited to start with this process though!!
