Richmond is a great city and all of the medical students at VCU were very friendly. My interview was one of the hardest all season because of the number of detailed questions necessitating a personal example in response.

Summary of Experience:
WashU did a great job with the interview day! We were given a lot of personal attention by medical students, and fed a lot - dinner, breakfast, and lunch. After visiting, I don't think WashU is for me though. It puts a huge emphasis on research with no room really for patient care. Based on some comments made to me by students and faculty, the institution seems to scoff at students without a hard science research background and at those who are interested in primary care. All that being said, the hospitals and facilities were absolutely beautiful, and I am sure WashU provides a fantastic education.

I liked Cornell a lot as a school. The students were very approachable and I like the curriculum. After a number of visits to NYC for interviews though, I'm just not sure anymore if I could live there.

I had a lot of fun today at NYU! The students giving the tours seemed a little tired and unsure of what to say, but were eager to answer my questions. Bellevue is awesome, the simulation center is beautiful, and student housing seems to be decent. my interviewer was very down-to-earth and honest about the education and available experiences.

The interview day was super relaxed! This was a perfect first interview experience. I felt like I connected with interviewers and I enjoyed the tour of the med school and hospital.

I love the University of Chicago. Always have and always will. I wish they had gone over more of the curriculum, but they did provide a lot of written materials, so I think any remaining questions I have will be answered when I look over those. UCSD is a beautiful school. The buildings are brand new, the weather is perfect, and the students are friendly. I really like their new curriculum. Amazing that we only have to wait one week for the decision!

Summary of Experience:
I was able to stay with a student host the night before, which worked out well. I did think it was a little strange to tour the medical school with no one there (since it was the day before thanksgiving). My interviewers were really engaged and interested, and I thought the few students I did meet were very nice. I think I would miss the University atmosphere if I attended Mount Sinai, although I know I would be trained very well. I don\'t think Sinai would be the perfect fit for me, but I was still very grateful for the opportunity to interview.

I love Johns Hopkins! This is definitely one of my favorite schools! The students are fantastic - friendly, engaged, interesting, intelligent. The facilities are gorgeous, from the classrooms to the simulation center to the hospitals. My faculty interviewer wasn't so great; I don't think she had read my application and she didn't seem that interested in talking to me. But my student interviewer was awesome! Can't wait to hear back from Hopkins in February!

I like Wisconsin a whole lot more than I was expecting! The research opportunities and clinical training are fantastic! And everyone in the Midwest is so nice :) I am definitely considering Wisconsin as a possibility. Just have to decide if I would like living in Madison.
