I think this is one of the best run programs in the country. I LOVED this program....unfortunately, I don't think I can justify going here holding a Duke acceptance (plus I love Duke). It's been a great season.

Well, the acceptance is great....but my heart isn't in this. Very likely I will withdraw. I've spent my whole life fighting....I want a supportive program and i want to finish in less than 10 years. Lots of people will enjoy going to Harvard. I'll enjoy life as a whole.

Really had no idea how adcoms would respond to my strange application, thus applied to WAY too many schools and went on WAY too many interviews. Oh well, I survived!
Feel strange to be in the situation that I am in. Didn't expect this season. I plan to do revisits at WashU, Duke, Yale, and UW. Still thinking about Harvard.....but I think I'd prefer to do this during residency.
Considerations for me: I want to be happy. I want to buy a house with a yard for my dogs. I think program administration matters. I'm interested in immunology. I'm confident in my abilities so I'll do what I need to do to make my mark wherever i decide to go.
