Summary of Experience:

I liked the city of Pittsburgh a lot (reminds me of NorCal), and the school has considerable resources for students. The medical school building's a little old, and I'm sad that Pitt canceled its merit scholarship program, but Pitt's still a possibility.

Summary of Application Experience

A few tips:
1) Don't stress. The application season can be long. Especially if you're applying as a senior, remember to hang out with your friends and keep connected to your non-premed class.
2) Interviews are important. Sleep early the night before (harder than you think...).
3) Don't hide who you are or the challenges you've faced. We all come to medicine from different routes.
