Summary of Application Experience
1/26/08: Took the MCAT. I thought VR was bad, but I felt confident about PS went well and BS was okay.
2/25/08: Got scores: 35R. I went up from a 28 Kaplan Diagnostic (11 VR 9PS 8BS. I guess my self-studying strategy helped. Used Kaplan for Physics, Princeton for BS and for Chem, Examkrakers for VR, and took Berkeley's tests, along with AAMC tests. I actually did better than the AAMC Tests. I started dancing and screaming outside my in my balcony, and I thought the people at LA thought I had gone nuts. Yay.
5/1/08: TMDSAS opened. I started filling it out, but I cannot submit until after Spring Quarter grades come out, which means, after June 15th.
5/6/08: Finished Draft 1 of my Personal Statement.
5/8/08: Cut out some schools, but still have 38. It is also my little brother's b-day and he turned 13.
5/18/08: Huh... the tables have turned. Usually I figure out who people are on SDN, but someone figured out who I was... interesting...
5/26/08: Finished Draft 2 of my Personal Statement. It is still 2500 characters too long...
6/16/08: Finished PS and it is down to 5925 characters. Now to start on the 15 activities.
6/23/08: Finished my 15 Activities. Also my dad told me to add about 15 more schools. He is paying for it, so I said, why not?
6/23/08: 11:10 P.M. Submitted AMCAS!
7/01/08: Submitted my first secondary!
7/03/08: I am inundated with secondaries... Why did I apply to so many schools?

7/16/08: Yay for instate love: UCSF... not that that means much though... they are super competitive...
7/20/08: Yay VCU... I got it right when I reached Richmond... I guess they decided that since my sister is going here, they would like to give me the secondary... (and apparently I count as a legacy here...)
