    Summary of Application Experience

MCAT didn\'t go as well as I hoped with an EMCAT CBT average of 34... Since I work 30+ hours/week and have research full time this summer, I won\'t have a chance to give it a solid go-again for this round.

-06/02/2009: AMCAS Verified! Only took 5 hours, now come on AACOMAS!
-06/13/2009: AACOMAS Verified! Not released to any schools though.

    July:
    -07/01/2009: Updated misc stuff.
-07/24/2009: Updated secondary dates, just finished my summer research internship. Sigh, three weeks until school starts. Hopefully I\'ll start hearing interview invites soon!

    August:
-08/04/2009: Updated misc stuff. Got an email saying OU\'s secondary application is still 7-10 days from being sent out... bah!
-08/11/2009: Recieved and completed final supplementary application!
-08/18/2009: Second day of senior year, and already buried... The good news is first interview offer arrived via email!
-08/26/2009: New MDApps! Modified a few things to look cleaner on new website.

    September:
Waiting... and more waiting.... sigh lol

    October:
-10/02/2009: Invite from OSU in middle of biochem test... I knew it was them because of the vibration ringer I had set for OSU\'s number which caused me to probably screw my test... lol oh well.
-10/19/2009: Updated misc things and my withdraw from KCOM (I was sick with flu, have interview at top choice... i decided to withdraw instead of reschedule to save money). Excited for interview in 2 days! (made an 89 on biochem which is an A on her scale... whew).
-10/21/2009: Interview went really well, I was told about two weeks until we will hear anything though...
-10/27/2009: Interview offer for OU! Now the difficult part is comming. I am heavily sold on OSU so will this interview make much difference... IDK. But I am trying to go in with an open mind so I can make an unbiassed decision.
    -10/30/209: ACCEPTED OSU!

    November:
-11/11/2009: After analyzing my personal wants and talking with my fiancé (now wife), I withdrew from OU. I held on for a while because my family was pushing me towards OU since its close to home and because they have a hard time understanding what exactly a D.O. is versus M.D. I found that personally OSU was what I and my Fiance wanted and I was thoroughly excited about it. I also confirmed that all my materials were received by OSU today and so as a newly convert poke (former boomer)!

Best of luck to any applicants who read this and just keep moving forward!
