Summary of Experience:
Decided to withdraw. This may be a great medical school, but its location is in the middle of nowhere (the Dartmouth coach takes four hours to get to and from the closest major airport).
Summary of Experience:
Incredible interview experience. This is a true supreme medical hub in the middle of Philadelphia. I would love to receive an acceptance here.
Summary of Experience:
Received an interview only after sending an update (hello I am an in-stater!). The interview was enjoyable. The medical school is very impressive. One of the best, if not the best, medical schools in the Florida.
Summary of Experience:
The medical school has an excellent appearance. The Grady hospital is fantastic. The entire city of Atlanta praises this hospital on every billboard.
Summary of Experience:
It was a hot day in NYC, but coming from South FL, I did not feel too uncomfortable in sweating in my suit. The medical school is very impressive with labs and study rooms underground and a very historic public hospital. The hospital and medical school are not connected, and you must walk outside (in sometimes unfavorable weather) to go back and forth from them.
Summary of Experience:
Excellent interview. Very friendly applicants. Mostly instate applicants. The students seem very mellow and laid back (maybe too laid back). No hospital tour unfortunately (I would have liked to see Wills Eye).
Summary of Experience:
My interviewer was late and only spent a few minutes asking me very general questions. This was my most unpleasant interview. The medical school was the nicest looking, and most modern, building in North Philadelphia. That being said, this area of Philadelphia is terribly run-down, and this greatly swayed my decision to not matriculate.
Summary of Experience:
This was my best interview. It proved that selling yourself and really catching the interest of the interviewer is necessary for getting an acceptance. The medical school building is new and very cozy. I can definitely see myself attending this school.
