  • Brief Profile: From an inquisitive perspective, I believe that the beauty of medicine lies in its offer to answer our questions even if it cannot fix them. The more I learn about medicine the more I understand that the role of a doctor, to respond the patient’s problems, diagnose the unknown, and proceed with treatment options. As a person who has spent her entire life asking the questions I desire to play a role where I am the person answering the questions. I hope to reduce the aspects of medicine that are intimidating by showing that medicine can teach us more about ourselves than any other subject. In pursuit of medical school I wish to build upon the foundation of my health care comprehension, adding more information as I decipher the complex system of the human body that has its own language at times. When I become a doctor I will keep in mind that I am also a translator, acting not only as a physician of medicine but a public educator of health.
